As a benefit for retail partners, Shaw gathered over 1,000 secret shopper reports—each with survey responses, charts, and other data. They wanted to send every retailer a personalized “report card” summarizing their results. My task was to design a clear, easy-to-read layout and find a way to produce more than 1,000 unique reports efficiently.
I created a fully responsive design and used InDesign’s automation tools to generate the reports directly from a massive spreadsheet of data. What would’ve taken an estimated 600 hours to do manually, I accomplished in about 10 minutes—saving an enormous amount of time while delivering polished, customized reports at scale.
